Does this mean you've broken your "stop using Microsoft OS/software" challenge? Or are Microsoft websites excluded?
- Tony Ruscoe
Google's bet on HTML5 and the web is the right one.
- Diego Barros
who gives a tard about Chrome :) Grow up Cutts!
- Jose Fajardo
Matt it works fine on Chrome on Windows. This is the only platform on which a non-beta version of Chrome is available at the moment. You should use only supported browsers like IE8 and Chrome on Windows, Firefox, Safari and Opera on Windows and Mac OS. If you are using a Linux-based distribution, you should get the latest Moonlight binaries and use a supported browser like Firefox or...

Silverlight used to work with the Chrome Dev beta. Not sure what changed....

Tony: Microsoft websites are excluded from my challenge. :)

Hi guys, just to let everyone know. This group is now officially called Appetite to match up with a new channel we've launched at The Next Web by the same name (http://thenextweb.com/appetite). Hope you can learn to love it! :)
So, how long till Twitter's list function is used by someone to make a 'Slutty and Easy' list of the girls on their high school... and for the media to jump all over it
No, it's intentional, with the internal dialog, "I _knew_ I should have gone to med school in the first place. You were right, Ma. So right."
- Micah Wittman
I thought you'd be the photographer for the event, Sunny.
- Chu Yeow
@sunny You have to face the truth. We are impossible. Sorry.

Wouldn't he be too busy? Imagine gonna put ring and kiss that time he say stop, take out iPhone and put "kissing nao..." "putting on ring" I really don't think mrs Teo will dig that.

Winston did say he'll try to live-tweet, but my thoughts exactly Mr Wong.
- Chu Yeow

If you don't want to increase the number of action links for an entry, you can simply put a "flag" symbol, so we can "flag it". And of course the "Flagged entries" link :)
- Barış Mert Gezer
from iPhone
@Rishabh, it would be quite annoying for people. Just imagine lots of it on a subject, lots of comments without content.
- Barış Mert Gezer
from iPhone
Flag may have a "negative perception" for some people. "Mark" may be a better term. I'd like to ask you to expand on your idea here, though, Are you meaning the original poster able to follow up to one of their earlier entries - or the commenter following up to an earlier comment? Because I'd love the ability to see a follow up entry linked to an earlier entry ...
- LPH™ and his dog P™
Yes, "mark" is much better. Here is an example: I see a post on my main feed with a link to a video site (vimeo). I cannot view the video on my iPhone so i want to check it later on my PC. I have to mark it, becausevi cannot "like" something before i properly see it or i don't want to leave a meaningless comment like " i will check this out". Here comes the "mark" option.
- Barış Mert Gezer
from iPhone
would be nice to even go a bit beyond "mark" -> "tag" w/ label(s) (more of a "note to self" than a "like:" or "share")
- Dan Freeman
Rishabh: it doesn't seem possible to restrict searches to your own comments, so everyone's posts with that tag would be shown
- Mike Chelen
Dan: that is what "like" accomplishes because then the topic appears in My Discussions
- Mike Chelen
An option to mark something for later review that only you can see (unlike likes which are browsable by other people) would be useful, but you could just like something now, and then unlike it later.
- Andy Bakun
Easy way to bookmark so only you can see is to make a private group just for yourself and share posts you want to come back to later, to that group. I do that to bookmark things for myself. I also tag things and leave comments for myself to remember why I bookmarked it. Once I have reviewed it and no longer need it, I delete the post from my bookmarks group.
- April Russo (app103)
Thanks April. But it's really hard to do it from my iPhone, since there's no share option here. But nice method for normal users.

If you use the Gmail theme "Tea House" you may not have noticed that, late at night, the ghosts come out to play. Have you found any other easter eggs in Gmail's themes?
- Carlos Granier-Phelps
from Bookmarklet
Whoa. I use that theme on one of my accounts, but I never use that account at night.
- Admiral Anika
haha. Love Easter Eggs. Thanks for pointing that out. Like Anika I never use that account at night. BUT I do like how the solar system rotates on my Gmail Theme throughout the day. Very fine. :)
- Melanie Reed
That's supposed to happen as well in the same iGoogle theme but I have the impression that that only works in America as I have never managed to see that in the iGoogle page, which is pretty disappointing. The rest of the world do like those Eastern Eggs in the Google themes, not that I have waited at night to see it (I'm lying on this) but if you, for whatever reason (playing Sudoku), are still up you should be able to watch and enjoy it in the same way as an American. Shame on you Larry and Sergey. ;)
- Cibeles
I use this theme, and i have never noticed. :)
- Simon Wicks
In Singapore, I can also see some. Like in the Phantasea theme, usually water is deep blue, but when getting late (2200pm i guess), it will become purple. and deep in the night( 3 or 4 AM, not sure, because usually never bother to look at clock at that time) it will be like bloody red.

Kristian: I'm not sure. It's rather ironic that they did something as radical (and productive) as the Ribbon but have no native tabbing feature. But then again neither does any other productivity suite I know of. Cloud apps are "tabbed" only by nature of the fact that they run in a browser

Shareaholic is ok but that's only for Firefox as an addon
- Outsanity
nope it's also available as a bookmarklet, look again
- LANjackal

Well, I'm sure Sharein will build up in time. What Shareaholic needs is a way to send the content to the other sites at the same time rather than separately at a time
- Outsanity
Took him long enough, lol. i made videos on the site last month. PICK UP THE PACE, MR. GRAY!

Outsanity, I will never bow down to your outrageous -- SQUIRREL!

Outsanity, Shareaholic supports Firefox, IE8, and via a bookmarklet Chrome, Opera, IE7,6, etc. All browsers are covered. Shareaholic also supports Ping.fm for multiple sites at the same time. -- Jay @ Shareaholic
- Jay Meattle
I think we ALL already know of Shareaholic by now. Plus, Being a Ping.fm user, I usually use... Ping.fm. Call me crazy for trying new things.

Which browser do you normally use? :-)

It's about frickin' time, Guy! You're the guy who handed Steve Balmer a Macbook Air as a symbol of good design and yet you've been using Twitter all this time? Either start using friendfeed or switch to using Dells. You can't have it both ways. :)
- Alex Scoble
You missed out on the earlier days of FriendFeed, but then it's never too late to start using it.
- imabonehead
I don't think Guy understands he can write comments to his posts, instead of new posts to conversate
- Stephen Pickering
Welcome, we arent experts here but we manage to muddle through some how

Really! I thought you invented it ;)
- Bulent Keles
Friendfeed consolidates most all of the other social networks into one feed and then echos it out to twitter also, for the masses. FF is a well developed web app! The bookmarklet and web widgets work very well.
- Keith Rowland
congrats Guy! I think you'll like it :)

This is """literally""" the first time I commented on your feed. As always, welcome to new users such as yourself. Self + for my improper use of air qoutes.

Welcome here, maybe it takes people like you to bring the finesse of FriendFeed to the world! (can't let @scobleizer do all the work on his own, can you?)

now figure a way to have my friendfeed autopost alltop content, maestro!

Liking Grasslands too, but seriously FriendFeed let me tweak my theme like Twitter.
- CannonGod
Also, what does everybody think to having enforced user themes? Y'know, clicking on different people's profiles shows their uniques theme rather than the same theme throughout?
