Small Business Buzz
Q4 Would you like to see more product information on #sbbuzz? Does it need to be unbiased?
Concerned it could become too promotional. Depends how it's handled. - Meryl K. Evans
To learn about better/faster ways to keep fans and sponsors connected - scott3sa
If the fine folks at BatchBlue think highly enough of someone to invite them on to present to us, that's OK with me. - Linda Dessau
scott3sa and Linda, could you explain further what you're interested in? - Meryl K. Evans
I'd prefer unbiased, but yes I'd love to hear more about things others are using and evangelizing. From the community, not necessarily companies. - chelpixie
You know what might be interesting is to have someone go through their list of products and why they chose them - could be an ongoing topic. - Scott Blitstein
Product information - word of mouth critiques is good - Chris Hendricks
I'm interested in collaboration tools and how people are using those. - Linda Dessau
Small Business Buzz
Q3 Any suggestions for new topics and/or speakers you would like to see on #sbbuzz?
Always keen to learn about new web tools and how people are using them. - Linda Dessau
Are people typing their responses here AND in Twitter? - Linda Dessau
Linda - I'm just keeping it here. - Scott Blitstein
I checked the box to post here and in Twitter - but am only seeing stuff show up here. - Pamela O'Hara
The sbbuzz items look like they are cross posting. - Scott Blitstein
Gonna keep it here, too... but haven't had much to say tonight. - Meryl K. Evans
I think I would like more detailed information from providers about specific services or their place in a category. - Scott Blitstein
Really - it is such a fine line between education vs. pitching. Any ideas on how to keep is useful? - Pamela O'Hara
good point. I just really like learning the "why" behind design and dev decisions. - Scott Blitstein
I like hearing about community and development, but I'm not sure how useful that would be to small businesses. - chelpixie
To me it makes a product's features mean something more than just a list - but agreed, might be too techie. - Scott Blitstein
Small Business Buzz
RT Q2 Do you like the format of #sbbuzz chat (1/2 general discussion, 1/2 featured speaker)? Recommend any changes? #sbbuzz
I like the format, I like when have a speaker every other week. It seems more people get more answers when we have a general discussion with a speaker every other week. - chelpixie
I like the format - although sometimes I wish there was more time with the guests. - Scott Blitstein

A Podcamp Boston 4 Preview: It’s All Social Media - http://blogstring.com/2009...
As an organizer, the term turns me off and I've pondered with Christopher Penn what the solution is and I'm not sure what it is. We throw it around so much that it's become a catch all. And we're tired of it because we were here in the innovation stage and now it's all.......not shiny. I think that now we're on the other side of the curve the term will start to burn out. I would have shared that theory with you, Nate, this weekend if I'd gotten a chance to read blogs before the event, but I'm with you on the end. At the same time, there were a LOT of new people to Podcamp and I'm hoping that if they had questions about those topics and social media that they got them answered. We'll see how it evolves in the future. Thanks for coming this weekend and Sarah, thanks for coming up. -Michelle - chelpixie

Q1 - Example of an answer
We're trying to figure out if it is better to have answers stream like in Twitter - or use comments to thread them better. - Pamela
There is the option to only allow the admin to start threads which would limit answers to comments under that item. - Scott Blitstein
It collapses comments after a few...just FYI - chelpixie
I kinda like the answers in the thread. although that's very different from the twitter stream. - Michelle Riggen-Ransom
Is that a setting that can be adjusted? - Michelle Riggen-Ransom
This is going to be very confusing for anyone jumping in late. - Pamela
the ability to respond to individual comments is lacking a bit - I wish it were threaded. - Scott Blitstein
I do like the fact that it does contain comments to a particular question though. Might cut down the noise a bit for off topic chats that develop. - Scott Blitstein
@Scott, I agree, keeps the noise down. - Neal Rohrbach
Pamela
I just changed it to only let me start a new question. Ah...the POWER!
I think that might be the better option for this since it is moderated. - Scott Blitstein
Your evil side is showing! - chelpixie
Pamela
Hey guys - @wvpmc says she can't login w/Twitter credentials. Is there a setting I missed somewhere?
Mine gave me the same error, and tried twice and it worked. Must be a bug. - Neal Rohrbach
It worked for me. Let me log out and try again though. - Scott Blitstein
Mine automagically loaded. - Michelle Riggen-Ransom
are you using the twitter password in the log in box or going to the sign in page and clicking the twitter icon? - Scott Blitstein
I love MRR for using "automagically" - chelpixie
Pamela
Q2 - Welcome everyone. Could you find your way here? Could you easily figure out how to use FriendFeed?
Q2 Would we answer questions in line like so? - Michelle Riggen-Ransom
I didn't have any trouble. I like being able to sign in with my Twitter details. - Scott Blitstein
I just don't understand the login using Twitter part. - chelpixie
Wonder if it's because I'm already signed in? - chelpixie
probably. Try signing out and then coming back. - Scott Blitstein
