Seems to me lots of people complained that Facebook was a walled garden ... now they're complaining that it isn't a walled garden.

Is there an iPhone app that feeds babies through the night? I'd buy it. I'd pay loads for it. Otherwise I get my revenge when he hits 14.

I find it bloody hilarious that if Cameron gets in, he'll probably at some point have to receive 'President Blair'. That must irkle.

Is social media a fad? Unlikely. We've got some of the most powerful tech ever, that allows us to be heard, we're unlikely to give that up

Let's hope Facebook can integrate FriendFeed's special sauce | The Web Life - http://blogs.zdnet.com/weblife...
My comment to this: "For the record, I use FriendFeed as much as I ever have. It's easy to lump me in with those who have tapered off, but anybody who thinks I have been decreasing my use hasn't been paying attention." - Louis Gray
Lumping me in with people who have decreased their usage is as dumb as lumping me in with people who detested Google Wave. If you're going to reference somebody, make sure you pay attention to the data to show you got the story right. I am at close to 300 comments and likes each in the last week. Tapering off? I don't think so. - Louis Gray
You tell them LG. Too many sweeping comments and posts being thrown around, where is the accuracy! - Mo Kargas
Louis Gray Kicks Ass... He truly is the Prince Of FriendFeed......................... *poke* - Johnny Worthington
I'm so uncomfortable with that euphemism for anything....... - Matthew DeVries
So Scoble is dumb? Gotcha. ;-) - Jason is Sassy from iPhone
Scoble isn't dumb at all. But Scoble is Scoble-centric. - Akiva Moskovitz
Some people try to kill tools that may not have more evolution, some of us try to embrace what we have up until the point where it is of no use anymore. That's not a slam on Scoble or MG, it's a pat on the back to the community (including Louis). - manielse (Mark Nielsen)
Still, Facebook (traditional social network) and FriendFeed (social media aggregator) remain two different beasts with two different purposes. I don't see them fusing, but I do see them as complementary. Each has its own niche (as do Twitter, Google Reader, Posterous, etc.). Let's hope Facebook come to see this. - Dennis Jernberg
Louis, I find it very strange that this is the first post I've seen from you all day, perhaps all weekend. I know you've been doing stuff, but somehow I don't see it. It's not getting pushed back into my view when I refresh (I gave up on RT long ago). - MiniMage - HLtW
What? You mean that one data point isn't enough to extrapolate from? But where would we be then? - Glen, Bespectacled Elder
Yes, throwing accuracy under the bus is the new hotness. - Micah Wittman
Louis G, I've been aware of your FFing usage, cuz I'm pretty much a die hard fan & hell yeah you still use it as much as you've always have, perhaps in a different way, but that changes for everyone. Except for your incessant Google Reader shares don't change one bit! & Scoble is the centre of his Sobleized Social Me Elite universe & we're all supposed to revolve around it. Exhibit A... more... - sofarsoShawn
Shawn, you can hide my Google Reader shares any time you want. I will never stop. :) - Louis Gray
I'm spending much more time on Facebook. But nothing beats the slickness of Friendfeed. It's a pleasure to use. - Chris Baskind
I still spend most of my time on Twitter. - Justin Whitaker
That article smacks of the "me too" blogospheric echo chamber. With the exception of Robert Scoble, I'd wager that most of the people writing FF off barely participated, and so missed out on getting a taste for Friendfeed's "special sauce" anyway - Andrew Terry
