it's pretty obvious with HL2 if things are working - the action freezes and judders big-time. However, even if it does this it can be playable once cut scenes and a few seconds of game play have been gone through. Let us know, we wait with baited breath! - Ian Smith

Having read the review at Lazon.com [?], this machine really does seem to be the machine for me. In their review, they got only about 1.5 hours of battery life in certain situations, but armed with my tekkeon/the everun extended battery, that wouldn't be a show stopper for me. Right now, I have to resista strong urge to hurl my Vye S18+ 500Mhz tortoise across the room every day, so PERFORMANCE/size is the key for me. - Mark

Actually, if your review reads as I expect it to (I am guessing the verdict will be favourable!), then the only things that will give me (momentary) pause for thought will be colour (white only?), possible non-expandable RAM (I am praying that it is expandable), and possible issues with the mouse... - Mark
