I just recently learned a quick shortcut for pointing people to a particular time in a lengthy YouTube video. When time is of the essence and you want to make sure your recipients find what they need quickly, then this is definitely the way to go. Just append the URL and you're good to go.

Once again the Obama administration gets it and incorporates social media (via YouTube) into promoting flu prevention PSAs. This would be a great project to have students work on if you're currently teaching summer school. First prize is $2500.

Just ran across this via @markwagner's blog at www.edtechlife.com. This looks very interesting and at first glance appears to be a blend of Moodle and ELGG (though likely proprietary source code). However, I don't see any educators working in leadership for the company so I'm wondering how in tune they really can be with K-12 education...
