Keep Sarah away from all that Tupac, LG.
- Derrick
I will, Derrick. Notice also how everything is pushed to the back of the couch? Nothing is safe with this one. Nothing!
- Louis Gray
We have the same problem in our house - JJ has even developed a name for it. He starts shouting "Ga!" every time he sees the computer or my iPhone.
- Jesse Stay
I can tell. Look at how she's rocking that hat!
- Derrick
Back in the 1980s, I knew someone with a 2 year old child with Down's Syndrome. The child could navigate the Mac with no problem.

Would you believe my 2 y/o son could say "Google"...well before "mama." Also it's the first spelled out word he identifies with. The daycare is great, what are they putting in the water, er Koolaid?;)
- Rick Bucich
Wow - 98 likes. Sarah appreciates it and so do I! Thanks for being such loyal friends. We'll keep sharing as long as the community enjoys it. :)
- Louis Gray

You can stop when they turn 16 and start saying things like, "Dad, you're so behind the times!" :)

The picture was awesome. But ... you know you're a giant geek when you're bugged by the sentence about sensors in the suit overheating... optical mocap is done with passive reflectors on the suit; all the electronics are external.
- Andrew C
"awesome. But ... optical mocap is done with passive reflectors on the suit; all the electronics are external" THIS QUOTE is exhibit A as to why the court has ruled that the FriendFeed community rocks. Case closed.

Aggregator of gamer information. I am testing this to use to post my Xbox and WoW achievements on Friendfeed. Also has a client app and can post to twitter and facebook.
- Paul Whitaker
Pretty nice. I use it sometimes too http://raptr.com/Neurario Unfortunately it only seems to detect when I'm playing my Steam games or Osu!. :|
- Neurario
not sure whether this is cool or scary - not sure I want my wow profile on friendfeed
- Joelle Nebbe (iphigenie)
I signed up over xmas, not really looked at it that much. Forgot about it TBH, will take another look tonight properly. Doesnt seem to like my PS3 ID at the moment. XBox is fine.
- Simon Wicks
XBox worked fine last night when i tried it out. Doesnt seem to like anyone's PS3 though, not just mine. I had to manually select what i was playing and an estimated time i would play for. That sucks.
- Simon Wicks
I tried that the other day but I don't like it too much
- Marek
If you're just looking for a way to add your WoW achievements to FF, you might want to check out http://pipes.yahoo.com/czottma... and add it as "Custom RSS" feed to your profile here. Take a look at my profile to see it in action.
- Carlo Zottmann
Looking for a way to make it work with the PS3 without me having to manually put in what im doing. I cant be bothered with that. Dont play WoW so.. :)
- Simon Wicks
I can totally imagine Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory using this.
- Roberto Bonini

Does this mean that if you don't post an update for 9 months, Twitter staff can give your username to someone else? I usually register all variations of my name on social networking sites, but only one is the active account...
- Tom Harrison
This is a great tip. I love the Internet.

"Windows only: Downloadr is a small application that allows you to completely back up the photos from your Flickr account. You can grab everything in one bulk swoop or use a series of filters to drill down to just the photos you want to grab. It automatically grabs the highest quality image and preserves the EXIF and IPTC data. In addition to searching grabbing images from your own account, you can search creative commons works on Flickr and use Downloadr as a tool for bulk grabbing them also. For another Flickr tool check out Flickr Backup. Downloadr is freeware, Windows only."

So. Put unknown 7 on top of unstable Vista? Hm....so many ways to say no thank you
- George Bounacos
You can also do a fresh install.. the wording is a bit confusing there in that it sounds like you can only do an upgrade install. What they mean is you can't go XP -> 7
- Mike Kogelman
My Prayer is that is will work on my HP Laptop, Vista never worked with the camera or the audio without a blue screen, HP never updated the drivers, spent $$$ to do this and it was a total failure - went to mac so I could do the AV work for school.

Roberto; we saved $39.95 plus shipping, which is good, but we aren't doing it Steve's way, which makes us horrible humans...
- MVB (Curmudgeon of FF)
@Mark Are you sure? { iTunes > Preferences > Devices > Disable automatic syncing for iPhones and iPod } That option still allows the application to launch. The Tune Blocker charges the device but never initiates the launch. And it works on any computer. Sounds handy.
- Christopher Harley
That $39.95 plus shipping goes for more songs anyway - its a win-win for Steve.
- Roberto Bonini
Christopher: When I plugged in my iPod Touch just now, the screen in iTunes that pops up has a checkbox labeld 'Open iTunes when this iPod is connected' and I have the checkbox unchecked. Is this not the same with the iPhone?
- MVB (Curmudgeon of FF)
Mark - What you're seeing is a prompt from the application that has already been launched. What I thought was cool about this device was that the app is never launched. Major innovation? Not even. Minor convenience? Sure. Overpriced? Absolutely!
- Christopher Harley
Once you uncheck the box, it doesn't ever launch again when the device is plugged in. So, yes, it auto-launches once. Then you uncheck the box and it never does it again. Was I not clear in my explanation?
- MVB (Curmudgeon of FF)
alternatively buy a modded extention cable that is male to female USB A but only has the power pins connected.. could prolly have it for a fraction of the price, just no swiffy switch to flick, just unplug and take the extra cable off.

For all who are getting annoyed answering the same “How this happen” question, Andre Montejorge designed couple of funny and practical slings, aiming to save you the wording, but still illustrating the accident in a comic way.

haha, do you know ,Ducan, China internet users didn't always use Google or Baidu for looking for porn now. They are more and more interested in desktop software, eg. p2p tools like edonkey(not very popular in China) ,Xunlei(very popular P2SP software in China,) or BT, they are good at proxy soft tools to fu*k GFW. In fact ,most Chinese net.citizens can NOT found any good porn sites when...

the first computer mouse recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. while the basis design of the mouse hasn’t changed there is still lots of room for improvement. one of the latest mouse designs which aims to add something new is the cyber sport orbita mouse. the circular mouse functions the same as any other mouse but can additional spin 3600 degrees. this features allows the user to scroll, adjust controls in video and audio editing programs or spin around in cad programs or games. the wireless mouse can be used for many applications and definitely adds something to the design of the mouse.

Won't gesture and voice input one day make keyboards and mice seem horribly inefficient and unnatural for humans?
- Bryan Landers
Seriously considering building one of these, but I suspect I should add some kind of guards behind the blades. I'm a little clumsy to ride that as-is.
- Ha3rvey (obviously wrong)
I think that's a great idea. It doesn't look like it would be very difficult to build.
- Corie
Looks like it has a functioning brake and derailleur as well - no reverse though -- maybe a big negative
- Brian Sullivan
On further examination -- no cable to the derailleur

love it! i'd totally take it on some sweet jumps

I'm pretty sure I could get the same results by putting my foot in the garbage disposal whilst balancing a sledgehammer on my chin. I gotta get one of those!

It's free photoediting software, in case you don't have photoshop :)

I've tried it out from time to time, but I don't use it regularly.

me neither.. my friends on Linux all think I'm a sell out for sticking with Photoshop and GASP iPhoto LOL

I use GIMP for very simple image editing simply because I can't afford to purchase Photoshop. But I honestly don't know how to use it very well, so this might be just the thing I need!
