I don't get why this feature is getting so much hype. I already use Tumblr to do the same thing which is ported into FF and it doesen't have Scoble's isssue at all.

they badly need a social network. and friendfeed commenting. one problem google reader has is that i use it under a separate gmail account than my regular google apps for your domain account, and it doesn't recognize i've got split identities.
