Mattie! I thought you were going off the grid for some time? - vijay
You definitely need to put better directions on that page. They're WAY too vague. - Mattie Kenny
Just use Greasemetal http://friendfeed.com/e... - LouCypher
Hmm... Mattie, I was just glad whatever was bothering you at home was over and you were back. Why did I post it here? 'Cause you {liked} it, so there is a better chance you would come back and see my message(and I was right). Also we don't have a messaging feature here. Anyway, I don't see what's inappropriate about this but I can take it down if it's too distracting, no problem; it's unrelated to the post, and now has lost context as well, so it might as well not be here. - vijay
Lou, with this you don't need to install any program or copy scrips to folders etc, it's all just drag-and-drop, really easy, quick and hassle-free. But to each his own. Thanks for sharing it here btw. It's good to be aware of options. - vijay
vijay, using your method, not all scripts will work because Chrome doesn't recognize Greasemonkey's GM_* functions and unsafeWindow object. Plus, it steals userscripts.org's bandwidth, because your bookmarklet injects script hosted on userscripts.org into a web page. - LouCypher
Lou, you are right. - vijay
However, not all GM_* functions are supported by Greasemetal either. Only GM_log, GM_addStyle, GM_openInTab and unsafeWindow object. - LouCypher
[chrome] WOW this must be the most useful bookmarklet ever. thanks very much vijay!! :D - 'Like' robot (frɐnc)
Now, if there was a way to open a single folder in the same window ... no need for dumb greasemetal anymore! - 'Like' robot (frɐnc)
glad this was useful Franc. : ) - vijay
