Jaiku is like Rejaw + FriendFeed combined. It lets you do 140 character micropostings with threaded replies, it supports input from SMS and Jabber IM clients and it will import any status messages from RSS feeds to aggregate your web presence. - Adam Turetzky

I'm actually conversing on Rejaw with Jaiku users, who say the features are similar, yet they are going to stick with Rejaw, even when Jaiku comes back up because of all the neat features. - Mona Nomura

Jaiku has MUCH better mobile client and very comfortable community there: Mobile client gives more chances to spread over world while community is less web2.0 drones and more into gadgetry... Yes, "just say Nokia" - A. T.

yea, well, at least i was able to connect my mobile, therefore doing updates from my mobile, to Jaiku but never managed to achieve the same for Twitter. I even wrote to their cust. support but got a vague answer only one month after... Moreover, it is hard to communicate with someone on Twitter u dont know from somewhere else. In Jaiku it is easier to have an initial contact. - Hayk
