In my role as tech staff member, I have registered Daniel Mietchen (the current ME) and given him Editor rights on the CZ blog. This allows him to post to the blog without moderator intervention and to edit posts made by others.

In two motions EC:2012-010 (general issue) and EC:2012-009 (specific case) the EC is discussing blocking authors for content-related reasons.

OK, three of us think it is a good idea to ask the Ombudsman to investigate voting methods. As I stated previously, I don't think a formal motion is necessary, since we are only asking for input, not formulating policy (at this point). I will ask Garet...

I am guessing it worked for you because you tried six hours after I posted the notice... If you had looked at the recent changes you would have noted that nobody edited CZ for several hours after I posted the notice so you have no way to determine how ...
