So how do those heirloom tomatoes taste? - Gabe
The heirloom tomatoes were quite tasty. They didn't have that many seeds, and were quite fleshy, but not too hard, like many modern tomatoes. They weren't particularly sweet, and weren't too acidic either. The sweet 100s, as the name implies, are definitely the sweetest. The lemon boys are also low acid, and pretty fleshy. I had a big one on my sandwiches for dinner tonight. I am hoping to get enough ripe at the same time in the next week or two to make salsa. - Robert Felty
