My mother, Cleopatra Jones was a civil rights leader in NY and worked to make CHANGES in the community... she was the original crusader.... Are you a crusader?

I attended the first meeting yesterday....... we discussed the (H) healthcare bill and what is expected of us as grassroot organizers
I will keep u informed on our progress in relating the objectives of the healthcare bill & the work needed to help make change in healthcare
Hearing all sides.... obtaining a clear picture.... reading.... learning.... dialog with others.... the keys 2 making an informed decision
Informed adj. - have enough information 2 understand something, based on accurate knowledge...understanding the issues & obtaining the facts

She was a great role model for me..... she got things done..... made everyone feel needed...... and special...... I hope I have her gift :-)
Today we also had a sight visit from Fulton County...... everything went well..... we passed muster!...... tomorrow I continue with the data

From Homelessness Awareness Week came #AtlantaHomelessConnect ..... Dr. Wachniak was instrumental in helping plan this event
Many of you know Cleopatra Jones was my mother who died not to long ago....... I made her a promise to continue her work in the community
I attended a retirement party 4 Dr. Lana Wachniak, creator of Homelessness Awareness Week at Kennesaw State University... gonna miss ya doc!

In order 2 move forward understanding others is important 2 our growth as human beings....... being human is something we all have in common
To be appreciative of their contributions...... to be tolerant of their faults..... to be supportive of their struggles..... & show kindness
Understanding n. - ability to grasp meaning, knowledge of something, mutual comprehension, knowledge of another's nature.......sympathetic
The turkish gov't is establishing relationships with communities in the U.S. 4 friendship & goodwill..... an effort to create understanding
I will attend an event at the Istanbul Center for the Lincoln Bicentennial Leadership Forum...... an outreach effort by the Turkish gov't
To gain knowledge of someone else's (C) culture...... to be considerate of their customs....... to be accepting of our differences.....

We also created a new alliance with the database provider........ to work together on the next event & collect data to IRB standards
Yesterday was a tough day....... found out we can't publish our findings from #AtlantaHomelessConnect because of the way we collected info
Is a whole generation written off...... seen as damaged goods..... not worth saving..... if they are not educated....... what is your plan?
Almost ready to pass the information collected into the Ph.D's...... this has been a long process..... everything should be completed by Jan
The plan has been set...... to save the young....... but what about the current generation graduating from 2006 - 2014..... what about them?
Are they lost?....... have they been written off?...... have u stopped trying?....... what is the plan for them?.... prison or homelessness?
