can friendfeed import OPML?

No. I wish I could share my lists with other people via something like OPML.

Is there an official company statement on why there's still no OPML support? Preferably there should be support for remotely hosted OPMLs: if Robert Scoble changes his subscriptions, those changes would propagate onto all FriendFeed users interested in keeping track of his subscriptions. Call it dynamic OPML synchronization, so you wish.

there is more to friendfeed than RSS aggregation, perhaps adapting the content into this format would lose its context & relevance?

Check out http://friendfeed.com/friendf.... Lucio made a Yahoo Pipe which combines all feeds listed in an OPML file into a single feed which you can then import into FriendFeed.
