Dave is a nexus for a lot of really cool ideas. I truly appreciate the things that he has done (like RSS with enclosures) and the things he may yet do. That's why I was willing to read his thoughts about Twitter - The Experience. Unfortunately, Dave can also be a jarring and unharmonious soul. So much of this article reminds me of the weird disputes Dave used to have with Adam Curry...

I'm trying to look at this from Twitter's perspective. What group of suggested users would best benefit the company? There's the Calcanis option (sell the slots to the highest bidder to get revenue), or you can identify people who will keep Twitter users using Twitter (perhaps Shaq is too old for this, and Ashton might be better - does Katy Perry tweet?).
