Two months later and still those damn blank white pages, posts that vanish when you submit, and overall slowness. I really wanted Pownce to work out, I held out for a long time hoping it would pull through, but nothing has changed except for the new AIR client (which is good) and the iPhone app. I can't believe that they can't pull this together and get the issues straightened out, they have the resources and the talent. - cmiper
Still recovering from yesterday's nasty, it actually does some pretty interesting things to the registry including locking all users (Admins too) out of Regedit, Taskmanager, and anything else that would allow the user to remove the malware. Spybot stopped it and removed most of it, Rogue Scanner cleaned up the rest, then the registry repairs all had to be done manually. This is one of the dirtiest, nastiest ones I have seen yet. All of the menus, options, and icons are made to look exactly like they belong to Win XP/Vista and it even copies the Windows Security Settings page to promote updating their product...asshats! - cmiper via Bookmarklet

Gah, it gets worse...it disables Start>Programs, the Task Manager, Control Panel, and MSConfig. To top it off, when you go to Google, it creates a fake "Google Tip" box at the top of the page that says that "Google recommends you purchase the full version of XP Antivirus 2008" - cmiper
