OK, so Apple *finally* replaced my iPod Touch after 3 round trips to the Apple repair clinic. After 3 "unable to reproduce the issue" notices from Apple repair, I can only hope that they are able to fix the issue before they put the unit back out into refurbished land. Otherwise I feel for the next person to receive it. :-(
Finally, at last... Good luck with the replacement!

It only took a month, but yes...result! My only gripe (which I am willing to let slide since I was more concerned about having a working iPod) is that the notice that came with it said that as part of the service, the latest system software was loaded onto the device...which was not 3.0. But hey...I haz iPod!

Sort of like buying 'the latest' and having to download the latest software once you get it running.

Unbelievable, Apple sends back my broken iPod touch again stating that they can't reproduce the issue, even though a product specialist viewed my video of it happening and acknowledged that there was definitely an issue...W-T-F? http://www.youtube.com/watch...
Maybe they have it running on Dell hardware ;)
- Travis Koger
I am at the end of my rope. This isn't just a one time thing, it happens all the time, and unfortunately, I am working on Dell systems and need the drivers...but this is what happens any time I try to view or download them. :-(
- cmiper
Yeah I have the exact same experience, thankfully although my scope is nearly all Dell hardware I rarely have to get drivers, but I get the same issues when trying to get web prices... before calling my Indian Call Centre Account Manager. (Indian as in India ;))

Che Guevara's grand-daughter poses semi-nude for animal rights... with just a string of carrots to preserve her dignity. - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news...
Her grandfather fought for his idea of freedom, equality and a better world. Lydia Guevara is simply fighting for attention. The granddaughter of the Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara has posed semi-naked with bandoliers of baby carrots slung across her shoulders in an advertisement promoting vegetarianism.

Just received a handwritten envelope in the mail. Inside was a post-it note stuck to a newspaper article about a car sale/auction going on at a nearby car dealership. On the post-it, was a handwritten "thought this might be of interest" message to me, telling me to "check this out, it's this weekend"...signed J. I had to think really hard about who J was, and was drawing a blank, then I started looking at the paper better and noticed that the "article" had little *disclaimers in it about pricing and finance, a giveaway that it was an advertisement. Checking the other side of the paper revealed the stock watch section, but I soon realized that the stock info wasn't accurate. Very clever advertising...and I can see how it will probably work, but not on me. ;-)

Is there a way to get FF notifier to *only* show you comments on your posts? The setting that seems like it should do that still shows all posts that appear on the front page.
Pressing on certain areas of the screen (and not the touch areas, but rather the black sections to the left and right of the home button) as well as the home button, would make the backlight go out on the LCD. The LCD was still active, you could see the icons and apps, but they were dark without the backlight. You could get the backlight to come back on by hitting the top power button again. It was almost like a loose contact that when pressure was applied to the right spot, it tripped the backlight.

My chi.mp account has been broken for days, anyone else seeing this issue? It's like the CSS is broken or not loading?
I'm using Chrome, which worked in the past. I just checked with IE and it seems to be working...so I guess it's an issue with Chrome. Will post on getsatisfaction in a bit I guess...thanks!
- cmiper
Yes, we're aware of the issue with Chrome (as you've seen), although it's unclear at this point if there is anything we can do to fix it without going through the existing CSS line-by-line until we identify culprit.
