I want the little elephant. It reminds me of the 5¼" floppy disk brand I used to buy for my Apple ][e clone in the early 80s. - Akiva Moskovitz
Have you ever seen those videos of people riding track bikes around a metropolitan area? pretty hard since they don't have brakes, or an adjustable gear ratio, let alone the ability to coast. - J. Phil

"Diablo III has been announced by Blizzard Entertainment at the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational in France. Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, said that they wanted to expand the epic elements of Diablo for a long time. "We know that players for many years (have been waiting for) a return of the series, so we are very excited to share this announcement with all of you here in Paris and the whole world today." Diablo III will be launched on both Mac OS X and Windows simultaneously, with pricing and system requirements to be released closer to the launch of the game." - Colby Olson via Bookmarklet
Oh yes - this will be played on my iMac. Can'twaitcan'twait! - Tad Donaghe
I have dug Diablo 2 out of the depths of my harddrive, to commemorate this event, and to get really really good at it before Diablo 3 releases. Must have. <3 - Daniel Bruce
Im so freaking excited. - Colby Olson
Oh wow - I just downloaded the full 20 minute game play video. It's MUCH higher resolution than what you watch online. Clocks in at 800MB. I see the doom of my "free time" when this comes out. Possibly best game ever? - Tad Donaghe
paint me noobie, but it looks like diable2 with prettier graphics and a couple of gameplay tweaks? hardly qualifies as best game ever :P - David Petar Novakovic via twhirl
yep you is a n00bie...new classes, new abilities, different gameplay and look at those MONSTERS yummm!! totally gasming over it :) - Allison
which part of the game play is different? I'm just not seeing anything here that hasn't been done by other companies already. Perhaps I need to watch the trailer a bit closer. - David Petar Novakovic via twhirl
Don't know about "best game ever" but it does promise to make me waste A LOT of time when it comes out. Best gaming news I've heard in a long time! - Rahul Das
@David: You don't need to improve on perfection! ;D But seriously. I'm guessing the available classes will be: Barbarian, Witch Doctor, Sorcerer, Assassin (or other rogue-ish class) and a bow-wielder (Ranger/Archer) - Daniel Bruce
Im so excited for this, I loved diablo2, this is going to be so much fun. - Colby Olson

"Creative's ZEN X-Fi player is still in progress and is being more directly targeted at Apple on both the hardware and software sides, says a slew of leaked information obtained by epiZENter. Spotted in an official product shot, the X-Fi changes the look of the original ZEN to an aluminum-and-chrome look believed to be drawing heavily on the visual appeal of the iPhone. According to leaked documents from the company's UK website, the new ZEN will also be Creative's first wireless player and will have a unique nine-point directional pad to take advantage of integrated Wi-Fi: users will have the option of instant messaging on Windows Live or Yahoo Messenger with a phone-style system for typing without either a touchscreen or a full QWERTY keyboard." - Colby Olson via Bookmarklet

Cult of Mac - News and opinion about the Mac and iPod communities » Blog Archive » Kanye West Types So Hard He ALMOST BREAKS His MacBook Air
June 29 at 3:40 pm - via Bookmarklet - Link
"Increasingly cartoonish rap star Kanye West has been savagely bashed for showing up two hours late to his own 3 a.m. set at the giant Bonnaroo music festival the other weekend. He finally responded to his critics via his blog last night, and in so doing, coined the wimpiest tough guy catch phrase ever: But this Bonnaroo thing is the worst insult I’ve ever had in my life. This is the most offended I’ve ever been… this is the maddest I ever will be. I’m typing so f***ing hard I might break my f***ing Mac book Air!!!!!!!!" - Colby Olson via Bookmarklet
