It's cancer. It's been rough on him. I always said that he would die coaching on the sidelines. It's unfortunate that he won't get to go out so proudly.

Only CBS is reporting this so far -- and they first reported it only 20 minutes ago.

Sorry. And by a score of 3-0, too. Just hoping that the system gets it wrong so that we can debate the validity of said system. Otherwise, I'm indifferent, and I hope they play to ten overtimes.

I'm not just saying this because my Huskies finished just out of the money this year. I might be interested in the TicketCity Bowl. I always watch most of the Hawaii Bowl. Beyond that... meh.

The Stanford-OkState game might be interesting. How did 6-7 UCLA get in? I thought all teams had to be over .500?
- The Ghost of Library Past
UCLA got an exemption. They finished 6-6 before they were forced to play in the Pac-12 championship game due to USC's probation.

Despite what the scoreboard says, it has officially been basketball season for about three hours for UConn fans. We're waiting for ESPN to switch to the basketball game.
University of Connecticut at University of Cincinnati -- 12 pm EST, ESPN. UConn still hasn't won at Nippert. UC doesn't seem to play on campus much anymore. Nobody's giving the Huskies a chance to win this game -- except maybe a few people in southern Indiana.
- Julian
I'm watching University of Houston vs. Southern Miss and LSU vs. Georgia.
- Trish R
Louisiana State University vs. University of Georgia (SEC Championship Game -- Atlanta, GA) -- 4 pm EST, CBS. This is really the SEC National Semi-final. If it gets out of hand, I'll turn to something else. (I'll probably end up watching basketball.)
- Julian
University of Oklahoma at Oklahoma State University -- 7 pm CST, ABC. Bedlam. Enough said.

College football is over for me. Watching UK/UNC basketball today.

The annual basketball appetizer for the annual de-facto crystal football championship game. Also, a humble reminder that a college sport can generate a ton of money for athletic programs, yet not disqualify potential champions just for losing a single game.
