I actually follow quite a few Twitter people in Google Reader, via RSS. If anything Twitter is showing RSS how to solve the subscription initiation problem. Now we know "follow" is a good metaphor. I see a web-wide RSS system with simple follow buttons coming down the line. Rather than the centralised Twitter system. - Paul M. Watson
