Unbelievable that even after ANOTHER blatantly racist video, people STILL continue to defend this guy. Un-frickin-believeable.
- Shey
At a certain point in time, after so many things he does and says, you really have to stop trying to buy the "I'm not a racist, but Loren's right" argument and see it for what it is: "I am a racist, but that's a bad word, so here's my rationalization for believing racist things."
- Mark Trapp
Mark, honestly you're right, it would make more sense if he just admitted it.
- Shey
As long as people keep defending and praising what he does and things like it, he will never admit it. Pride is a powerful thing.
- Mark Trapp
We're just fueling into his negative publicity and he's gaining more exposure. Ignore the idiot

Mark "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." Pr.16:18 :)-
- Peter Dawson
@Mona Unfortunately, it's not just him that's the problem. The more people make his behaviour acceptable by defending him, the more this stuff is going to happen and the more racism propagates.
- Shey
I gave him the benefit of the doubt after Technigga. I thought it was premature to lump him in with the racist trolling that happened to Wayne and Corvida. It's not premature now, it's pretty clear he's racist.
- Michael C. Harris
Racism is sad. I remember when people used to throw things at my car because I was Asian... People with self-esteem issues with nothing better to do, than make others feel worse, to help themselves feel better about themselves.
- Mitchell Tsai
was it kanye west who said: "loren feldman doesn't like black people"?

@Shey, in this case, what needed to be said was said and Loren Feldman is milking it for what its worth. If anything, the issues should be discussed and not him nor what his clan are doing, no?
- Mona Nomura
@Mona Yes, the issue itself is bigger than him, but we are talking about HIS behaviour; it's impossible to exclude him from the discussion. I think we now know who Feldman is and what he's about. What amazes me Corvida and I (as she spells out in the post) is how many folks aren't willing to even acknowledge that what he's doing is wrong. They defend his actions with arguments of "free speech" and "Bin Laden is using Social Media" and "He was trying to be funny" and "He was trying to help black ppl".
- Shey
Yet, in a strange way, Corvida and Loren are in agreement. Corvida doesn't care for affirmative action and feels it's demeaning. Obviously Loren feels the same way, though he chooses a different way to express his opinions.

from fftogo
@shey: i don't think certain people are 'defending' his actions. they're 'supporting' them. he's the (alleged) village idiot who says things that they're too smart to express in civilized circles. but their defense is a proxy for agreement.

Shey, his quote un-quote satire is racist and tactless, the latter descriptions applies to his followers as well. But when I look at his Tweets and blog, it looks like a cry for attention. It's definitely not excusable but in many ways these people are beyond help.... =(
- Mona Nomura
@Mona You're right. I think this quote from Hank Williams sums it up: "I think that Loren is angry. I think he's an angry guy. He didn't start out being angry at blacks, but he is now based on the response he's gotten. He also seems to have a racist fan base in there, and he feeds off that as well."
- Shey
Ya, I just saw Cyndy's post and I think everyone should read it.. but a lot of people don't understand NYC is still one of the most bitter racist cities in the world. I've been called Chinawoman/Chinagirl to my face as a pick up line LOL
- Mona Nomura
He's a one-trick-pony appealing to the lowest common denominator. Hateful. Also sad, especially because under all that nastiness, there was perhaps some talent. Better to ignore him rather than give him the attention he seems to need so badly.
