"I'm really not looking to play that realistic of a game of Assassins. Though, before Columbine and VA Tech it was a great game to play across campus with many people."
- Courtney Engle
Geez. Nobody's ever said that to me. I guess I already am smiling? Maybe you guys shoul-- never mind.
- Brad Greer
@sarahlane he could instead offer something more useful, like chocolate!

What about "hey baby girl", I hear they like that one.
- Jesse Hattabaugh
There's nothing more demeaning to females than being called "baby mama." I hate it when things like that get accepted into the vernacular as being either funny, or cool. Hell, it's even considered 'respectful' by some. But what's the truth here? Bottom line is, a guy is basically saying to a girl that he looks at her as someone he wishes to impregnate. Yeah, that's real classy.
- Fleagle
I thought "baby mama" was for a woman you had *already* impregnated but to whom you were not married. I've never heard it used in the way you describe. See also: "baby daddy"
- Brad Greer
No. Not at all. I've heard guys say that to girls they're hitting on. As if that's going to do the trick.
- Fleagle
I challenge anyone to find a more compact way then "baby momma" to describe someone you've impregnated, but are otherwise not involved with. LOL.

Attention women. Men really hate it when you call them Champ. :-)
- Eric Booth
ok, duly noted. is it cool if we smile and say 'hello' or 'hi' as we pass by?
- Morgan Haley
@Rahsheen, I don't suppose you read my response?

"I'd love for Friendfeed to add in many more social media account platforms to the options, sync my lists there with Facebook friend lists and Twitter lists. And - possibly a like/unlike plus a mood (like Social Median). Hopefully we see some innovations soon. :)"
- Courtney Engle
Agreed - it would be nice to see them start to expand those again. I'd also love to see Facebook start to integrate those more.
- Jesse Stay
@jesse I look forward to figuring this out, as well as other FBML goodies too. Lots of clients ready and now understanding the need the for customized fan pages, rather than just landing on the wall.
- Courtney Engle
Yes, I thought it was such a good idea that I stole it and made my own, for the Simple Facebook Connect plugin: http://ottodestruct.com/blog... :)

Wish I could eat sushi (in Bangalore) :(
- Space Cowboy
@SpaceCowboy: Isn't there an OK Japanese restaurant on Church Street (parallel to MG Road). IIRC, it is called Dahlia or something like that. Don't know if they have Sushi, though.

There are five ways to keep your Facebook pages working for you - and your fans - without running into cycles or idle chit chat, says Italian digital media agency Frozen Frogs. They did some work to figure out fan engagement rate and found that:

"A new follower? Should you follow back? Find out if you have common followings with them, and which people you follow that follow them..."
- Courtney Engle
"you follow some people on Twitter. And some people follow you. But which people do you have mutual friendship with? Who doesn't follow you back? Who follows you that you don't follow back?"
- Courtney Engle
"Have a new follower? Want to see if you have a mutual friend to see how they might know you? Just input your username and theirs, and we will find all the friends you have in common."

Business card question: I am going to a networking event tomorrow that someone told me about a day ago, so I don't have updated business cards (changed site domains). How do I handle that when handing my old business cards out? Thanks!
As with any project you start, gathering essential information upfront is not only beneficial to a successful deliverable but will also save you and your client plenty of headaches throughout the process and pave the way to a lasting and trusting relationship.
