The Era of the Faceless Giant Corporation Is Over - http://blog.louisgray.com/2009...
- Louis Gray
Well, optimistic is also an adjective which could be addressed to your article. And maybe it is. But I think you forget about every day people. E.g. most people use Google for search but don't know Larry Page or Sergey Brin, let alone any engineers or bloggers of the company. Isn't it a surprise that you wish GE or McDonalds did the same? Maybe they do (I don't know) but chances are you probably don't know about it because they are not in your niche. You know tech, you know people working for those companies. So maybe calling your article dumb was an over-reaction but it was the first which came to mind. Sorry! - Carsten Pötter
The idea is that more big companies will begin to trust their employees' opportunity to be visible. Google is a 20,000 person company and I only mentioned 3-5 people, so we are at the tip of the iceberg. If companies outside of the space I know well are equally accessible, that's fantastic. I think it is just a matter of time. - Louis Gray
I think, I get your idea. Any yes, it's a very optimistic view on companies. Basically, I regret calling the article dumb by now. :) - Carsten Pötter
Kein Problem. Vielen Dank für das Gespräch. :) - Louis Gray
