It's lame to have been in China on a Tea Tour? Give him a break, and let him look into it today as he promised.

You know what's lame? Techcrunch writing a link-bait article based on one tweet from someone they could easily get in touch with for further explanation and or comment, but instead going ahead with a quick speculative article with no real information besides the tweet itself... THAT's what lame

Good stuff. Also: try being on the engineering team at shipping port and having to climb all over 100m cranes (did in 2006). You'll grow an extra pair

I think I'd go out on it. Maybe. Looks pretty awesome. Love seeing the little girl with no fear. Little kids would zip around fearlessly in jet packs if we had em.
- Chrimmus Tad
I think I would die if I stepped out on that, but I would try anyway.

You probably couldn't get me to go further than the 5th floor, let alone, the 103rd floor, plus out on a glass floor hanging over the city. Sorry Mr Wonka, but I'll take the stairs.

Thanks! There has been so many negative posts about FF lately that I want to balance it out. =D

This looks like a great start for tweeps and others. Short, but not leaving out anything. Maybe hiding and setting up lists, but those are a bit advanced.

A great post - Stumbled it :-). At last something not too complex, but not too simple to point my friends too when they ask about 'this FriendFeed thingo'.

I cant believe I missed this. It's cued to share in my Google Reader :) Have a great fourth with the family.

I bookmarked it on delicious yesterday, but totally forgot to like it here.

I couldn't agree more Chris. @sarahrobinson's account is a great example of this; she may have 6,000 followers but they are loyal and they take action. Prudent and powerful is best, right?

I want more people to watch this. I still need explanation from Mona...

There's nothing "wrong" except that perhaps it is too AWESOME.
- Rob Haas
No, the problem is that we are not courageous enough to release such a movie in America. I mean, imagine how much more awesome Ultraviolet would have been if made by a director with an upskirt fetish....

"There are no hallways in the vertical house, which is connected by a circular stairwell and uses an open plan. On the main floor of the three-level home, a curvilinear glass wall in the dining room looks onto a curvilinear waterfall outside. A kitchen designed for entertaining features a granite center island and CaesarStone quartz counters. A separate butler's pantry and scullery area can serve as work spaces for party preparations. Each of the five bedrooms has its own bathroom. The master suite includes a dressing room and master bath with three shower heads in the shower stall. The lower level features a screening room and a wine lounge with a concrete wall that's radiant-chilled and designed to hold 510 bottles. The swimming pool, spa and backyard are framed by bamboo gardens."

What, my comment thread not good enough for you? :)
- Glenn Slaven
Glenn, I'm keeping it going there too...and no, I'm not wrong on this.
- Alex Scoble
Memento had a kind of dark ending, and it kicked ass!
- Carlton Hackett
Carlton, true-ish. Excellent movie either way. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Here is the real test. How do you feel about the end of No Country for Old Men?
- Joe Pierce
To be honest I usually agree with you on this point, but I really did prefer Empire
- Glenn Slaven
Memento and Reservoir Dogs are exceptions to the rule. And I have yet to see No Country For Old Men...and if it didn't end well, I now have a reason to avoid it entirely.
- Alex Scoble
OK everyone let's find more exceptions to the rule. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
No, Empire is not an exception to the rule...it's not even a self contained movie. You can't watch that shit without going straight to Jedi and at least see Han get rescued. Now THAT would be a complete and awesome movie!
- Alex Scoble
Glenn, don't think I've heard of that one.
- Kol Tregaskes
You need to watch all three, none of them work as an independent story, like lord of the rings
- Glenn Slaven
Alex you crack me up, even when you're COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY WRONG! </akiva>
- Jim Will Miss SP
I disagree, Glenn. Star Wars is entirely self contained.
- Alex Scoble
Back to the Future II has THE best cliffhanger in movie history IMO.
- Carlton Hackett
Ah, Glenn, hehe. Yeah I *think* I've seen that. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Agree Alex, Star Wars is self contained, and that's why it's my favorite.
- Carlton Hackett
Carlton: It was unexpected, but I don't know about the best ever
- Glenn Slaven
Carlton, the ending it certainly in my top 100 list. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Alex: I disagree, that was just a cop-out by Lucas just in case the whole thing flopped, there was heaps more to the story
- Glenn Slaven
Totally agree with the sentiment. I've invested my time - and now all I feel is down and unfulfilled... those movies should come with a warning on the cover: Warning: This Film has a Shit Ending
- Craig Bailey
Alex, all seriousness aside, you've never ever seen a movie with an unhappy ending that you liked? You want the guy to get the girl and Tokyo to be saved every single time? Hated Brazil then?
- Stephen Mack
I think that's kind of sad. There are some great movies with unhappy endings.
- Jason Wehmhoener
Don't be hatin on Seven (I wanna know why this post says 1 second ago, but has like 30 comments. What the Eff)
- Rahsheen ™, Coach Rah
Rahsheen: Have you reloaded your page since it first came up?
- Glenn Slaven
The timestamps are not real time unless you refresh the page. :-(
- Kol Tregaskes
I've seen maybe 5 movies that didn't end well that I've liked and all would have been better movies with a better ending. Reservoir Dogs, Brazil, Memento, Old Yeller, Where the Red Fern Grows...certainly not Se7en...That's a great 1st and 2nd act with a horrid and extremely intellectually lazy 3rd act.
- Alex Scoble
If you aren't making a documentary, realism of ending shouldn't be occurring. If you can't find a good way to end a film, then I strongly suggest that you suck as a director.
- Alex Scoble
Empire Strikes Back would be an example of a movie with a poor ending.
- Alex Scoble
Wow; I think you're the first person that has ever agreed with me on that Empire thing.
- J. Abdul-Qahhar
Sorry you are wrong, a movie can have a dark ending even a cliff hanger and if done correctly can be a great movie. I like movies that when they end, everyone sits there in silence for a moment.
- Kim Landwehr
I dunno if that's true, if that spielberg movie with the robot kid had ended when he hit the ocean floor for example, it would have been better, and had a dark ending that was somewhat mysterious/cliffhangery
- Richard Lawler
But you need to know that Bride Wars is on DVD, James! Think of the children! When I bought my printer, they stuck a stack of advertisements for their other services before I could get to the driver cd: bundling ads is common, but I wonder how much it really subsidizes the price. But remember VHS? There was no menu button. The horror!
- Mark Trapp
Ian, in some cases, yes, you HAVE to watch the trailers. HBO does this a lot. Most of the time you can just skip them and occasionally you're able to just hit the menu button and bypass them altogether. As an avid DVD watcher, this is a MAJOR pet peeve.
- James Ferguson
Mark, ZOMG! Bride Wars is on DVD?! How did I not know about this??!
- James Ferguson
Well James, this is why you need to watch the trailers on your DVDs!
- Mark Trapp
I totally agree. What's even worse is when we're forced to watch 'Don't Pirate' ads on DVDs we've legally bought. It's enough to make me want to get pirated stuff so I can avoid the ads :-)
- Craig Bailey
Craig, Absolutely. And I would totally download a car if I could.
- James Ferguson
I downloaded a car once, but it turned out to be a pr0n movie.

I think so too. It's almost most SEO companies are still stuck in 2005 with link building and such when it's all about community now. And, it's kinda hard to outsource an entire presence creation on line. I see a ton of opportunity for companies who have well-trained staff that TRULY understand Twitter, Facebook and FriendFeed. Yelp is another one that will grow substantially over the next couple of years for local business.

Pivoting and Secondary Dimensions are new features available in most table views that allow inline cross-tabular analysis of data. You can use these new power features to do in-depth, on-the-fly analysis and see all the information in the same table. View data by two dimensions at once, such as keywords and cities. Next, pivot by another dimension such as source, while also viewing two additional metrics such as visits and pages/visit.... all within a single table view.
