This is one of her best songs ever. :-)
- James (!?)
One of the best songs, hers or otherwise ;)
- Michael W. May
I love this song so much. She substituted it in for something else at Lollapalooza because so many people were yelling up asking for it. :)

This is one of my favorite songs of Neko. Love her

It took me 3 days of random blips to notice they never came through. Go go attentiveness!
- Michael W. May
It seems blip.fm is blocking the pipe from fetching the feed :(. I am building a new pipe (available here: http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes...), this time using the official API. Right now it only outputs blips which have hosted mp3s, not blips having YouTube or imeem as the source. You can test it, but you should expect some bugs.

*hugs* Thanks, Cristi, you rock. I have the habit of trying to only blip the mp3s when possible so it's all good (though in line youtube would make you a god hehe)

Any way to fix the RSS timestamping on manual refresh?
- Michael W. May
Timestamps aren't working right now, I'll try to fix them as soon as possible. To get only mp3s in blip.fm, you can try adding "-video -imeem" when searching ;)
- Cristi
Oh, excellent tip... I should have thought to try standard seach parameters. Thanks again for this. I and others love it :)

There is one thing that I liked more from the old version: it displayed both artist and title, if both were in the blip. This seems to always strip the artist. And something new: I don't know if it was your intent or if it is possible, but the youtube blips do not put the video in the post. I thought Friendfeed would do that automatically via the youtube url in the title, but for some reason it is not. Nice it is being brought through at all, though.

I <3 your pipe! (sometimes a cigar is more than a cigar but this time a pipe is just a Y! Pipe(r)(TM))
- Snipergirl
Michael, I fixed the issue with the artist not displaying :). I was under the false impression that Friendfeed would include the youtube video if it found the url in the title, but I was obviously wrong - I think it only does so for Twitter entries.
- Cristi
Aye, I thought it would as well. Thanks for the artist fix :)
- Michael W. May
The one problem I'm having is that i don't get the pretty buttons/?
- Snipergirl
@Snipergirl - the media player only shows when the source of the blip is an mp3, not for youtube or imeem. You can filter the results of Blip.FM's search to mp3s by adding "-video -imeem" to your search

The iPhone and iPod touch made Mobile Safari the most popular mobile browser in the United States. Although Mobile Safari is more than adequate at rendering normal Web pages, many Web developers created versions of applications aimed at the iPhone. This 'Developing iPhone applications using Ruby on Rails and Eclipse' series shows how to use Ruby On Rails on the server side to identify and serve custom content to Mobile Safari.

hrm... well, it might help keep the others honest, or moreso... I don't like what CBS is doing to last.fm, but it's still hard to beat for me.
- Michael W. May
if it's limited to US, UK, France and Germany it won't make any difference to me anyway - other than stir up competition, that is

If Microsoft is chased with torches and pitchforks for bundling a browser into an operating system, shouldn't the mob go berserk when a company the size of Google attempts to make the browser the OS?

"My inner pessimist suspects that Microsoft will finally get around to implementing HTML 5 video at the same time that the H.264 patents expire, in roughly 2025."
