"As we gave you a heads up about last week, Mount Wittenberg Orca, the collaborative mini-LP from Björk and Dirty Projectors that resulted from a NYC benefit show last May, comes out today. You can purchase the record right here http://www.mountwittenbergorca.com/ (all proceeds go to the National Geographic Society), and you can also stream its closing track, "All We Are", above, via Domino Records' Soundcloud. The track is very vocal-heavy, featuring a stirring duet between Björk and Dirty Projectors leader Dave Longstreth near its end."

See, I believe that as a citizen you have the responsibility to pay attention to the people who will represent you and the laws they enact in your name. But with poor reporting and politicians doing so much behind closed doors, there's a dumbing down of American culture that's acceptable. How many people have you talked to who seem to have an opinion they want to spout on politics and in the same breath state proudly, "Politics bores me." or even worse, "All politicians are the same."?

Everything But The Girl's Amplified Heart has recently found a special place, every track, a couple in particular. sally rides is almost all the b-side of a double a 7" that a founding member was kind enough to provide me. Needless to say, I have played the shit out of it. I wish you all could hear it. Immi's is the new release, a couple great tracks, the rest all good, but I'm unsure of its overall stayability as of yet. I might be trying to hard to love it. B&S and Françoise Hardy are old favs.
