"There are plenty of more important technological advancements from the past 200 years that are much more important than some of the ones listed. What about advances in waste and water treatment? Immunization vaccines? How about medical imaging equipment? Or the Electric Motor? Or Batteries? Or Refrigerators and Freezers? Or the rim fire or pin fire gun cartridge? Or Penicillin? Realistically there isn't any way to narrow down the list to the top 10 anyway; maybe we could do top 200 but that may be too limited also."

"I considered buying a Macbook recently, but I just couldn't get myself to spend an extra $1,000 just to be able to run OSX in addition to Vista. The Apple Tax is crazy!! Being a Software Developer (mostly Web) it'd be nice to be able to more easily test on a Mac, but I couldn't justify the cost for my mobile dev box."

"hm.. I have a 6600 currently and was hoping to use that in my new i7 system. I guess I'll have to see how it performs. I don't think it'll make too much of a difference since I don't game on my pc. That's what the XBox 360 is for."

"It's to use less CPU and Ram than Vista. They're targeting it to be able to run on Netbooks. This means greater performance than Vista on the exact same hardware, not to mention how much better it'll run on the new Intel Core i7."

"Whey you buy something they usually don't record the serial number on the receipt with the transaction. The store just doesn't care. If you're that worried, then yes purchase with Cash only. Also, if you never register you printer, the manufacturer will never know who owns that specific printer. Problem solved... Unless of course you're involved in an investigation of printing counterfeit money."

"Autism causes a lack of the ability to communicate with the outside world. Sure you may be able to concentrate, but may not be able to tell anyone what you're thinking. This would be a very scary drug to put out on the market. However, I do hope they find a drug someday that can reverse the effects of autism!"

"The problem is not with GMail. This is an inherited problem with using Cookies and even tabbed browsing. Always make sure you open a new browser instance when checking a secured site, then log off and close the browser when done. Do not navigate away to another site in either a new browser or tab, or you WILL be vulnerable. Also, I dugg this down because of the annoying number of javascript errors on the page that occur when the page first loads."

"This is nothing new, and is something that could be done since about 10 years ago. Also, look at the source, it's still quite a bit of JavaScript."
