1. My mom is from South Korea and my dad is from South Dakota. - Eric

2. I moved around several times as an Army brat. Born in Washington, then off to Germany, Arizona, then back to Germany, and finally Colorado. - Eric

3. When I lived with my grandparents for a couple months in South Dakota I won awards in English and Science for my scores on their standardized tests. Apparently, I’m smart only in S.D. - Eric

4. When I get interesting in something, I tend to research and keep up with the back story and inner-workings a bit too much. - Eric

5. I didn’t graduate college my first go round. I went back only after I started working in tech, then I went until I got my Masters. - Eric

6. I am genuinely lazy, so I don’t know how I get so much done. - Eric

7. I have my name on two books. - Eric

8. I used to be a DJ in high-school and college. I have the turntables to prove it and I opened for A Lighter Shade of Brown twice. - Eric

9. I went to college on a music scholarship. Then I realized music is way too competitive for too little pay. - Eric

10. I was a teenage father. - Eric

11. I finally got serious about providing for my family after I realized I wasn’t going to finish school and I wasn’t going to be big in music. I’m sure it was a long wait for my family. - Eric

14. I have a few classic rare recordings of New York Hiphop radio shows from the 80s. DJ Red Alert was my favorite. - Eric

15. I went to Comdex on my own dime for three years. I somehow got into a Comdex party and kept trying to walk up to Bill Gates to say hi. I’m sure I’m on some stalker list now. - Eric
