FF experiment: I just deleted a comment and un-liked a thread (http://friendfeed.com/home-th...) because of how spammy and stupid the conversation got (I'm set-up to get IM's on updates to threads I comment on). Will this work? Will I escape the flame war between jcunwired and Alex Scoble?

Heh...Hope it works for you. I know I let him get to me too much, but he pushed one of my buttons (which are apparently quite nicely designed and easy to use...maybe I'm an Apple product?) by questioning my credentials, knowledge and integrity.

Well, it depends. If juncwired shows up here, I would judge this experiment a failure ;) As a side note, I bought a TV that none of you would have cared for, and I love it. Which is simply to say that sometimes it's nice (and affordable) to lack the ability to discern certain details. I also tend to enjoy $5 bottles of wine :)

He's blocked me so I doubt he'd see this because of me. :) I've been drinking a lot of the Gascon Malbec wine from Argentina of late, BTW...Really tasty and you can get it for $12 or less. As for buying a TV, you have to weigh your needs with your budget and buy what fits you. I'm glad that you found a TV that you are happy with, by the way, particularly since you are aware of the choice you made as opposed to thinking it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
