Nice transition from the character-heavy roots of Royale to the business-as-usual Bond with topical villain and action, while retaining Bond's vulnerability.

"Great post Rob, and very timely. You’re absolutely right in that perception is (almost) everything - today even friends who do not keep up much with tech were commenting on how Yahoo seems to be in trouble. Yahoo has such great properties and traffic, I hope they take some of your advice and focus, acting and projecting a positive image pro-actively rather than reactively."

Love how the full-length films are differentiated from the clips from 'popular' movies. I hope they get the copyright sorted out so full-length shows can be seen by overseas viewers, or we'll just have another Hulu on our hands...

"I agree that the option to be alerted when someone comments on my items is a great feature, and helps in keeping track of the information flow. Overall it's about being comfortable with how much you want to consume, as long as you have the filters in place to ensure that the most important developments are not missed. To me, all the excess is not a problem, if anything I wish I could spend more time going through the info and follow more people! There are so many interesting people and ideas out there."

"Nearly One-Third of Web Users Watch TV While Surfing Nearly 31% of people who went online at home in October were also watching television simultaneously, demonstrating that web surfing and TV watching are complementary behaviors, according to research from The Nielsen Company’s new TV/Internet Convergence Panel."

Heaviest internet users are also heaviest TV watchers... Too true by personal experience *shame-faced* Interesting to have these results confirm what I've found increasingly true - one thing about advertising on TV though, you can bet that viewers will be focusing more on surfing during TV advert time!

"Hey Jonathan, thanks for stopping by and the subscribe! I hear you - there's just too much going on all day every day that I wish I could just consume full-time, sigh. And I haven't even scratched the surface of subscriptions to the thought leaders. Still, at least with things like PostRank and Friendfeed's 'Best of', it's possible to at least keep up with the 'ethos' or major news/trends of the day. Agreed that the differing perspectives is important - one way I like to think keeps me discovering new sources is to subscribe to key words in google search/blogsearch, sometimes I find more obscure posts that are related to what I'm interested in :) Also, that's why I try to keep thinking and writing about things that I'm passionate about, even though it may not be the hottest topic of discussion at that point in time."

"Hey Wincent, Thanks for stopping by! So glad you enjoyed your visit to Singapore - there's definitely a lot happening and developing, with our integrated resorts and whatnot, so hope you return for another look :)"

But what seems to be most noteworthy about this site is its explanation for the stark absence of ads - it's not setting itself up to be visited.
