CynicWear

I'm just this guy, you know? Long story short, I'm a college student who does graphic design to blow off steam. Sites: www.cynicwear.com, cynicwear.wordpress.com
New design up -- Unobtanium Miners Local 314, Pandora. Real blog post coming ... sometime. ( http://www.cafepress.com/cynicwe... )
Oh, hey, lookit that. I need to get some sleep.
I think I might be high on Parmesan cheese.
Starting to get the hang of some (very little) of the lingo, though. This must be what madness feels like.
I accordance to New Years Resolution d.5, I started reading about poker. Felt like I needed a freaking Poker-English dictionary.
Had an earthquake here about an hour ago... not a big one, but a damn weird feeling.
"...cheerful, thumping chords went goose-stepping through the silence, sounding grotesquely irrelevant, like the mirth of a half-wit."
It's 3 AM and some jacktard out there is thumping merrily away with a song, the baseline of which has exactly two notes, alternating.
Polos = no go for now, embroidery wants a full circle or nothing. But golf shirts, hoodies & tracksuits up now. http://www.cafepress.com/cynicwe...
Hey guys, Rolling Twenties dark shirts are up now, polos soon. http://www.cafepress.com/cynicwe...
Neighbor kid got a New Year harmonica, stuck it in his mouth and is just breathing in and out. It's like a horror movie soundtrack.
Never thought I'd say this, but I really want them to get to "OH LORD, Kumbaya!" so they can be freaking /done./
Now they're playing "Kumbaya" on the keyboard... over and over... but it's just the first bit. "Kumbaya, My Lord, Kumbaya."
Net effect went beyond irritation, and wrapped back around to Really Funny.
They finally stopped screaming & got ice cream, so the mom just killed the stereo, but for a minute there it was everything going at once.
And then an Ice Cream Truck pulled up with his looping loudspeaker. And parked, waiting for the still-screaming children to buy ice cream.
Then their cell phone, which they leave in the window right outside our kitchen, rang "Yankee Doodle."
Just now, all at once: Neighbor kids were having a screaming fight, so the mom turned the stereo up full blast to cover them.
New design up: Rolling Twenties. Quite possibly my favorite so far. http://www.cafepress.com/cynicwe...
Thumper's playing his music low enough right now that I can tell what it is... and it's DDR.
Interesting.... Señor Unce is playing an album, perhaps best described as "The Phantom of the Opera Commandeers an Ice Cream Truck."
"...kids screaming, TVs blaring, neighbor mighta just shot a guy, but it's ok, 'cause I got a rainbow-colored WTF." http://www.cafepress.com/cynicwe...
Who knew the Ape Escape soundtrack could be so fun?
Yoko Kanno is a musical goddess.
New blog post, in which I go for a rant. http://cynicwear.wordpress.com/2009...
Alright, bot-sentry: no more IM spam! http://sourceforge.net/project...
Speaking of MSN Messenger spam, I just got a one-word message from (somerandomname)@hotmail.com, consisting solely of the "n-word".
This MSN messenger spam is getting ridiculous.
Neighbor's thumping techno again. Will rant more fully later, but I swear they only know of 6 songs here that aren't Michael Jackson's.
Really can't decide whether the live or the studio recording of Business Time is better.
