"I'm sorry, but debating the kill-billers on the policy merits of their position has become a bit like debating the global warming denialists. The denalists operate by picking and choosing which evidence they cite and what arguments they respond to. Sometimes, they raise fairly good points or expose legitimately sloppy work on behalf of "consensus" scientists. Sometimes, they are being contrarian for contrarianism's sake. And sometimes, they're just throwing a bunch of sh*t at the wall and seeing what sticks, hoping that the underlying truth or lack thereof is lost in the fog of debate."

When economist's / statistician's lead commentary with obvious partisan shots at topics that are not related to the topic at hand. Wise consumers should take pause. A fundamental truth of a mature market economy, is that you should sell when others are buying and you should buy when others are selling. The underlying fun damn mentals are irrelevant.

"One way to answer this question is by comparing how a typical family would fare with reform and without. At my request, MIT economist Jonathan Gruber produced a set of figures, based on official Congressional Budget Office estimates. The results tell a pretty compelling story, particularly when put in human terms."

Arnold Schwarzenegger. Another reporter — this one from Der Spiegel — told the senator: “You’re ridiculous.”"

I wonder if there's an Acting Constitution that discusses this. Say. Ossie Davis was prepping Morgan Freeman. That would mean that Freeman probably has chosen his understudy. Then in like 30 years, it'll be Mehki Phifer.

I think Alex means he's wondering what you meant about Dennis Haysbert, the Allstate guy.

Plus, isn't he a nice guy in those Allstate ads?
- Andrew C
I didn't know his name, but don't get the question. I haven't seen The Unit (never heard of it) or 24, so everything I've seen him in he's played a not-nice guy. =)

Will Smith still looks too young. I'm going with Morpheus or the Allstate guy. Danny Glover doesn't seem right and Kadeem...still seems too young....
- Rahsheen ™, Coach Rah
24.Potus and The Unit: you are talking about Dennis Haysbert and I think he is definitely the winner to play God in flesh and voice when MF calls it quits. Actually the actor that had all the voice of God parts was James Earl Jones. Freeman is second fiddle to him.
- Karma Martell
Hrm....forgot about Candyman. Him and the Allstate dude have great voices. I'm putting them up there next to Morpheus. Is Lou Gossett still knocking around somewhere? Haven't seen him in a minute.

As the commenters there say, he probably can afford a plan, but it's likely he'd get refused by every insurer. And I dunno, he's a lot more culpable for his insurance situation than most people are for theirs. I don't blame him for his pre-existing condition, whatever it is, but he definitely had a role in pushing back against any kind of public option.

I assume he'll stick to his principles and not sign up for the public option should it be passed.
