"As platforms pop up everywhere, the API, or application programming interface, is the bridge linking data on Salesforce.com to an app built in Google’s AppEngine — or it’s the link between Twitter and your ability to tweet using TweetDeck. No matter what type of business is providing an open API, Sonoa Systems, a company that hosts web services, has decided startups and platform providers need a good way to measure it. So it’s created Apigee, a service that sits between the two linked web apps and manages the connection while aggregating data about the use of that API."

And it's 7 minutes for digital, from what I've read. So watching the same lecturer on TV or YouTube, you have even less attention to give.

Just one reason is because you can see more of what someone is posting online if they have their profile setup to add different types of content such as, blog post, fav. videos, rss feeds, photos and more. Therefore getting to know them better or tracking their social behavior. That's my 2cents and I just Retweeted @MIketrap

Twitter is mostly for talking to people I don't and won't know. FriendFeed is for getting to know them better, and Facebook is for people I would like to have closer in my life (whether I just met them online, or once knew them IRL)

Wow it takes ages for that service to load the tweets.

Scary thing is most of those datasets duplicate exactly what Twitter has since they require so much caching

Reminds of Steve Balmer in 'Triumph of the Nerds' talking about IBM when they were writing OS/2. "You only get paid by 1000 lines of code" said IBM. KLOCs! "I hated KLOCs" said Balmer.

Data, correction WELL MANAGED DATA = $$$$$$$$$. Twitter is only half way there (customer base); now they need to go back and innovate with core feature improvements; plus, scale the app /dc - kill the fail whale problems

If you could live any place you wanted, where would it be? What would it look like? Here are pics of the type of country settings where I'd love to live...
Since we're in the realm of fantasy anyway, is it a cop out to say id like to live in the TARDIS? So I could visit any place at all on a whim.
