Here you'll find home grown applications created by Flickr members (like you!) using the Flickr API. The garden continues to flourish so go forth and frolic amongst the apps! - Doug Belshaw

@lisibo Fair enough!
@lisibo Why the 11+? Do you have no other options?
Off to play football - Staff vs. Sixth Form. They've no chance against Doug 'The Terminator' Belshaw. ;-)
@stevebunce Have a look at http://mrbelshaw.posterous.com - links to my Y10 History class blogs from last year. VoiceThread e.g's on there!
@stevebunce Cool. Jolicloud rocks. :-)
@stevebunce @sibrown1 @nickdennis Even better - could have a #belshawbrownbuncedennismeetup09 on Monday night?
After seeing the huge A0 laminated posters produced at Cramlington LV, I'm after a machine to do it for the Academy. Any suggestions? :-)
Reading 'Danish pupils use web in exams' [BBC News] http://news.bbc.co.uk/2...
Sorry, wrong link for 'internet during exams' article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2...
New on dougbelshaw.com/blog: 'Learning and growing.' (http://dougbelshaw.com/blog...)
Off to iron stuff for tomorrow after conversation with @nickdennis r.e. getting people onside when implementing elearning-related change.
Just ordered several posters for my office using Tesco Photo (https://www.tescophoto.com/wpp...) and this Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups...

. @JamiePortman We're down to 3 more now, actually! Subscribe to RSS feed at http://dougbelshaw.com/blog/ to get me up to 1,000 subscribers!
@theresawhite Ah, but we're using Google Apps at the Academy. :-)
@DavidMiller_UK Several T-Shirts. And a collectable mug. ;-)
RT @GuardianEdu: All schoolchildren may be vaccinated against swine flu http://www.guardian.co.uk/world...
@DavidMiller_UK Jolicloud (http://www.jolicloud.com/) is a web-focused, 'social' OS based on Ubuntu Netbook Remix. It, in short, rocks. :-D
@glassbeed Is the fact that you're not posting on Twitter r.e. education anything related to new internet filters at your school?
I only need 8 more people to subscribe to the RSS feed at http://dougbelshaw.com/blog/ to get me up to 1,000 subscribers. Any takers? ;-)
Realising that the Nutrigrain / Burger & Chips / Cake / Cheese & Biscuits / Apple Crumble combo I've had today is the reason I'm tired...
Realising that, because Google Apps works well and looks great even on an Asus Eee 4G with 7" screen, I'm onto a winner. :-)
@josepicardo I think you mean seamlessly, but yes - they're great. :-)
@robthill Oh, USB flash drives still have their place - just not on a day-to-day basis now that Google Apps is up-and-running at the Academy
Wow! Jolicloud on the Asus Eee 4G (yes, the one with the 7" screen) is great! Options to throttle back CPU down to 112Mhz...
@josepicardo Switch to Bluehost (like @4goggas is going to do). It's the way forward: http://www.bluehost.com/ :-D
@kevinmulryne @sibrown1 @johndavitt Thanks fellas. :-)
