"Here's a quick summary. 1. Create two messages in your followup series. 2. Message 1: This goes out immediately after somebody confirms their subscription regardless of the time of day. 3. Message 2: This is written to be more personal and ask a question to get a response from the customer/prospect. It only goes out on certains days and times. I like Mon - Friday from 9am-6pm so it appears to be "normal" business hours. 4. Adding a message to the bottom like "Sent from iPhone." is a proven method for increasing response although it is not necessary. Test it yourself. The 2nd email will get delivered at an interval to make it appear like it was personally written and not sent out seconds after they joined the list (like email #1 is)." - Darren Crawford
