"Great post and enumeration of needed iPhoto improvements. The only one I would add is that they need to significantly improve speed of desktop iPhoto. For m, it has become that app that I always think twice before launching. Kinda like MS Office apps on old Windows PCs (maybe new ones, too; dunno). It got so bad I recently moved all of my photos back into the Finder, organized into year & month folders and sync'd/backed up w/ Dropbox. Finally, along with the move to Finder folders, I've been using Everpix (www.everpix.com). It's not everything you describe. Most critically, it's not the canonical collection of your photos ... but it's a pretty good web store / web view of your photos. Thanks, DAVE"
