You should be able to disable trackpad clicking in the Control Panel; or tweak the sensitivity of it. Hope that helps!

1. There is no Trackpad control panel, and no Trackpad settings in the Mouse CP. 2. There is a feature called ClickLock, which appears to be the cause of this horrible feature. 3. However it was not checked by default. 4. I checked it and chose Settings and set the delay to the longest possible value. 5. Seems to have fixed the problem. 6. As usual in Windows, you have to lie to make it work properly.

Next issue ==> I forgot how to get Windows and Macs on the same network to do file sharing. Arrrrrrrgh. It's been a long time since I used Windows.

Did manage to copy an AVI file across using an SD card and the screen is lovely! Sound is good too, but at first it sounded like it was in a sewer, the echo was terrible. Found a way to turn that off and it sounds great.

There is no Directory Access app in the Utilities sub-folder of the Applications folder. I'm running Leopard, the instructions seem to be for an earlier version of Mac OS.

I was able to get the file sharing to go from Mac to the Asus, using the Go command in the Finder. It's nice! And with 802.11n support, it's fast too.

Jasmin, I didn't install any drivers. I'll go look.

Oy. I installed a fresh BIOS thinking that would get me the Synaptics driver, but no, and now the machine has forgotten that it has wifi. Any clues how to get it to recognize this? I forgot about all the trapdoors in Windows. Shouldn't have fukced with anything.

With some fiddling about I was able to get the wifi working again. SOmehow the WAN had gotten disabled. Re-enabling it got me the option to turn it on in My Network or something. Fiddling and diddling that's how you get Windows to do your bidding! :-)
