I think a "nice" scotch would conflict with her Working-Class Hero persona. Perhaps they are just, you know, sitting on the front porch, drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon out of the can... she is probably pulling a Maxwell Smart, saying she hopes he didn't take that crack about "white people preferring her" seriously, and by the way does he have $20 million to spare. - Karim
