"Thanks for posting this, it's always horrible when someone amazingly talented dies before their time but this seems like fitting tribute. The cover art is mesmerising."

"The narration / voiceover of this video is a complete rip-off of a series of articles I wrote in 2009 called "Chinese Culture 101" - http://www.randomwire.com/what... - I guess I shouldn't expect anything less from China."

"Thanks for including my infographic (no. 10) in your review - agree it's a little boring compared to the others and colour could have helped but I still find it far easier to read than most of the others which go way over the top with the graphics. No. 1 is great but it's pretty hard to follow the lines since they're so tightly packed."

"Great interview but Color reminds me of Google Wave: awesome technology which few actually understand how to use or why they need it. Perhaps once they've improved the UI it'll become clearer but it'll take a lot of convincing to get early adopters to give it a second chance..."

"Nice post Matt - I've already read the 4HWW and Rework which amongst my favourite books ever (the former inspired me to move out the China). Will have to try and find time to read the others on your list! One you might be interested is "The Art of Non-Conformity" by Chris Guillebeau which I'm reading at the moment - http://chrisguillebeau.com/"

"Nice article. I use Gmail Tasks for my personal tasks and Basecamp for my work tasks - love both for their simplicity. I don't bother about due dates just arrange the list in order or priority and work top-down. I find that tasks lists can be as crippling as the tasks themselves so just try to keep it simple!"

In decaying societies, politics become theater. The elite, who have hollowed out the democratic system to serve the corporate state, rule through image and presentation.

"Samsung used to be known for cheap knockoff electronics. Now it's a red-hot global brand, thanks to sleek, bold, and beautiful products. It transformed itself by opening to the outside world--and looking deep within its Korean heart."

"We have cereal for breakfast, bacon butties for lunch and microwave pies with mashed potato or chips for dinner... All that healthy food, like fruit and veg, is too expensive. We're fat because it's in our genes. Our whole family is overweight" Totally Sick.
