RT: @tragicwaste: @davidgilson Realtaed to that, great Mitchell & Webb sketch on scriptwriters and science: http://bit.ly/24AZ6l
@tragicwaste That's hilarious, and something you see more and more these days (more subtly of course).
@MistressMarlowe Hey, I'm a later starter to the book party. Most of my life didn't enjoy reading. Not sure how I got through Uni :-)
@MistressMarlowe I assume you're a Twilight fan then? If I see it, it will be the first film I've seen where I've read the book first.
Who misses having a genuine Christmas number one? Rather than having it chosen and paid for by Mr. Cowell? #xfactor #xfactoristrash
@tragicwaste Just watched the clip thanks. Ah, script-writers, bless 'em. Face-palm :-D
@XploitX Don't know where you got that idea, I don't have an android phone to use it in!

Allmyapps Bulk-Installs Your Favorite Apps, Makes System Rebuilding Less Painful - http://lifehacker.com/5396524...
Windows/Linux: One of the most irritating things about reinstalling your operating system is installing all the non-OS applications you love. Allmyapps lets you select all your favorite apps and roll them into a bulk installer to make rebuilding easy. At Allmyapps you can browse over a hundred popular applications in a dozen categories to build a master list of applications you want to install. You don't have to install immediately after building your list, you can save your list for later installation. Check out the video below to see how Allmyapps works: - David.R.Gilson
How To Tag Your Friends In Photos On Flickr - http://www.makeuseof.com/tag...
Now you can tag your friends and all other people in your Flickr photos. This may sound familiar from other services like Facebook. It took Flickr a while to implement the feature, but as you’d expect, they really made the Flickr tags work well. Especially the way you have control over where you show up yourself is handled well. I think this might sound convenient to some of you who have suddenly shown up on Facebook on that photo some kid made at a party where you tried to set the world record for beer bong drinking. Ouch. As you know there are too many examples of people getting busted calling in sick for work. But Flickr has implemented this well and it could be a really nice tool. Both for organizing your own photos and the people who are in them and finding other people’s photos you are in. - David.R.Gilson
3 Tools To Easily Backup Your Flickr Photos - http://www.makeuseof.com/tag...
Flickr is one of the largest and most popular photo sharing websites around. They let you upload photos for free – till a certain limit – and if you pay the very nominal fee, you can upload as many photos as you want on the site. They also have a pretty good permissions system that gives you, the user, control over who does or does not see the pics that you’re uploading. But that is not even the best part about Flickr. The best part is the awesome community that the site has and the knowledge that one can gather by just ‘lurking’ around the various photography groups and the forums. - David.R.Gilson

@timsalmon @mikejaydavies ... Investment is my s60 apps, which I resent. But I know if I change phone platform I'll have to take the hit.
@timsalmon @mikejaydavies My philosophy is avoid investment. A requirement to invest is a black mark on a platform. So far my only ...

Ten gadgets to make Google Wave more productive - and fun! - http://www.downloadsquad.com/2009...
It's still early days for Google Wave but already there are a large number of Gadgets and Robots being developed. If you don't know the difference, Gadgets are local, client-side (as in they run on your computer), Javascript and HTML. Robots run remotely on another server. - David.R.Gilson

@recombu From everything I've heard, I looks like battery life could be is Achilles heel, what do you think?
@stevelitchfield Re: hating Windows. That is exactly the feelings I had, which lead me to being able to write that S60/Linux article.
