@Mona: YMMV. I never had a bad run in with Chris. He deleted a few things from threads ... but perhaps the emotive comments were something he felt wasn't ... worthy. I specifically remember him defending his deletion and alteration of comments as a form of ownership and that it was his right to do with them as he pleased. He also mentioned that he sometimes didn't like the idea that the comments were out there forever. We may not have gotten along but I did appreciate his obstinacy. - Akiva Moskovitz

I think it got started in a thread about raising children. We ended up with some opposing viewpoints and then he attacked my potential of being a good father. I behaved in my usual barely-taking-it-seriously self and that drove him over the edge, I guess. - Akiva Moskovitz

Folks, I have never modified comments to make others look like idiots, despite what some have said. The only editing I've done has been to correct spelling & grammatical mistakes, or add another point before any other comments have been made. I have been guilty of deleting comments, but mostly just because I wanted to remove myself from the thread, not because I said something I was sorry for or ashamed about. - Cristo
