"What the DIGG description neglects to tell you is that this hack is client-side only. Everyone else in your realm will still see the original model."

"Yeah, this song is pretty terrible. The mix is so bad you can barely hear a word he's singin'. The bass is WAY too loud, too. I'll stick to Auto-Tune The News, thank you very much. :)"

"Part of the reason you never noticed that he only moved one of his arms is because the other arm did, in fact, move. There was a piece of string that I believe was wrapped around Big Bird's beak (or perhaps slightly below it) that allowed Big Bird's other hand to move up when the controlled hand went down, and vice-versa. Jim Henson and his crew were freaking clever people."

"You'd like some more recent movies? Alright. "Cloverfield", "Grindhouse", and "The Dark Knight". But you're right, the last update to the app was in 2006. It still baffles me why they decided to discontinue it. Motion, while a great motion graphics app, is simply no comparison, in my opinion."

"For those of you asking: Shake is (was?) a video/film compositing application. It can be used to perform blue/green screening tasks, more complex rotoscoping (or tracing footage) work, and compositing layers of video/film footage into one scene. Shake was used by some very well-respected visual effects houses such as Weta Digital (who did virtually all the visual effects in the "Lord of the Rings" films as well as Peter Jackson's remake of "King Kong"). It completely baffles me why Apple would choose to abandon this application just as it seemed to be picking up steam in the industry. People I know of who use it regularly swear by it. Strange move, Apple."

"According to Wikipedia, Chandler said that Jackson was circumcised, and he wasn't. That's a pretty large error in his description right there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki... ..."

"There was a RED camera there recording his rehearsal. I wonder if they got enough footage to edit it into a farewell tour DVD? That... would be completely rad!"

"If the God stuff in this show bothered you guys so much, why did you keep watching after the first season? It was there from the beginning!"

"Yeah, if it were actually the size of a small city, and not several counties, I'd be inclined to think it was something more interesting."

"I'm gonna get a group of people together to start telling a bunch of lies (oh, and die for those lies a few years later) and see if they stick around as long as the "lies" in the Bible have... I'm guessing they won't..."

"Adding a comment in case Sturek's theory is correct that this story's comments <==> diggs ratio is preventing it from making the front page."

"@bsmang There may be some instances where you can point to a particular religious belief here and there and say that particular idea is wrong, but to take those instances and say that all religions are wrong is foolish. Take Christianity, for example. At it's core is a man named Jesus Christ, who is believed by countless historians to have actually existed. There are several eyewitness accounts (and not only in the Gospels) that he performed many miracles, and there are even eyewitness accounts that he died and came back from the dead. Now, if you can disprove those core beliefs, then, perhaps, you're well on your way to disproving Christianity. If not, I'd suggest you learn to be a little more tolerant of people who put their faith in different things than you."

"If you're serious about gaming, you don't really want to be using Wifi in the first place The difference between using wifi and Ethernet when playing an FPS online is staggering! Then again, the phrase, "serious about gaming," is kind of a pathetic thing to say... why should you be serious about something that's meant for fun? I revoke my comment."

"Can you explain why, when I lost her for the first time, she mysteriously re-appeared after finishing a couple of quests? Was that working as intended too, Mr. Smarty Pants?"
- davidjtate
"Haha! That's true, but in real life you don't have a map telling you where she is or a glowing trail (that disappears when she's glitch-gone) leading you to her."
- davidjtate
"What about the disappearing wife glitch?! I'm sad to not see that listed among the patch fixes. I've lost my in-game wife twice (in fact, I can't find her at the moment), and it's happened to virtually everyone else I know who plays the game."

"If I'm not mistaken, churches have tax exemption because they're considered charities. Non-profit Organizations. And though churches sometimes seem to spread hatred, they also have helped and continue to help people in their communities and beyond, many of whom would gladly testify to it. Needless to say, trying to fight their tax exempt status would be pretty difficult."
