There's something to be said for the fact that once I download a game from Steam, I never have to worry about patching it, Steam handles that. I don't need an account with your service which is going to disappear or get hacked, Steam handles that. I don't have to join your community, Steam handles that. Then again, I can understand as a content provider why those aren't necessarily strengths.
