@billrobertson42 Well done, Bill.
An insurance application I filled out actually asked if I link to Web sites without getting their permission.
What kind of insurance? - Michael R. Bernstein
Also, what color is your hair? - Fulaan, inna Hebel
Errors and omissions. I suspect there have been absurd lawsuits about this. - Dave Briccetti
E&O shouldn't cover this (although I can construe a case where a business has committed or been enjoined not to link and then mistakenly linked anyway... I know, it's a stretch). If they've paid out instead of fighting the issue for garden-variety linking-without-permission, that's their problem. - Michael R. Bernstein
Still stuck trying to get SQL Server ’08 to listen on TCP/IP. Followed all instructions I could find. netstat shows nothing on 1433. Vista.
Got it to listen by turning off dynamic ports, and explicitly setting port 1433.
How fast would 8 red birds with smallish white wings have to flap to lift a whale? ∞ times per second?
@romefort Is it nice to be able to speak French to everyone?
@ev Hey, someone besides me used an em dash (—) in a tweet. Well done.
Thanks for the LLC advice, folks. Sent the form to state of CA today, with my $70. I’ll be Dave Briccetti Software LLC.
@vanriper Yes, you are very influencial. :-) Enjoying the tweets.
@michaelg Are there crackling noises to go with it? That would be something. And maybe heat lamps to make you uncomfortably warm?
@seanosteen I’m thinking maybe not. (Well, other than saving me going downtown for a printer cartridge.) $70 + form seem->sec state.
@tristanwalker At least you should only get it once (per person).
@kevinweil Hilarious!
@jeremyross Indeed! $70 plus simple form. Thanks very much.
Any reason not to use legalzoom.com to file LLC papers?
@retomeier Cool stuff. Thanks.
Struggling to get a new SQL Server 2008 Express installation to listen on TCP port. Read many helps/book pages.
@n8han Audience voices sound good. Harry is clipped and distorted. Screen is almost pure white and tiny. But still, glad to have it. Thanks.
@mzsanford On a mac you can have the little DV/US Flag appear in the menu bar for quick switching.
@michaelneale Wow, that sounds a lot like coal.
@n8han I see a man there. And I hear sounds. Thanks!
@mccv Is it traveling east? I would like it.
@lqd I suppose an app needs to accommodate multiple use cases. I do value knowing who retweeted it—adds import.
@lqd Are you considering that with the new style, there can be multiple retweeters?
@n8han Do broadcast it somewhere, please and thank you!
@mikaelgrev I think so. I miss Carter, O’Neill, McKay et al, but there are interesting characters and stories.
