Roko and Delfino gone. Amir Johnson in? In a reversal of tradition, the Raptors are pretty deep with the bigs - but are short on the 2 and 3 spots.
- Jed
Bad move for the Raps. Johnson no longer has the "limitless" potential. He is what he is: a bench player.
- Ryne Nelson
I agree Ryne -- it sounded like Delfino wanted to come back, no? Why not keep him?

Delfino wanted a significant role on the team. Turkoglu's signing, and the apparent readiness of DeRozan - combined with all the guard pickups would really limit his minutes. Colangelo would have been paying 5 mill, for a guy to play 10 minutes a game.

Though I agree that a Delfino on that lineup would have looked better. I think letting Roko go, could hurt them in the long run. And Johnson probably wont see much playing time anyway - this just seems to be more of a money move.

"Brian vs Bryan - The Off-Seasons Thus Far" - My thoughts on the summers of Burke and Colangelo so far. - http://flagrant3.com/467...
The Maple Leafs and Raptors have undergone big changes over the past years. Losing does that. After the Vince Carter/Rob Babcock episode, the MLSE opted to find the best man for that GM spot, which turned out to be one of the more popular NBA GMs in Bryan Colangelo. The Maple Leafs aimed to follow suit, and move on from the disastrous Ferguson era. And after much speculation and waiting, finally landed NHL GM superstar in Brian Burke. It’s a rarity where a GM outshines an entire franchise; even rarer that it happen to two major teams in the same city- but that may just speak of the state of Toronto’s Raptors and Leafs.

With the "Y" always wins, that's the best spelling.

It is being reported that league sources have confirmed the Golden State Warriors have agreed to trade Marco Belinelli to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Devean George.

Golden State must have really not liked Belinelli to give him up so easily. But yeah, if this doesn't make the Raptors an unofficial Euroleague team, I'm sure Colangelo has another European in the cards - I'm hoping it's Delfino. The Raps are lacking in the three.

Fansite Brightfalls.net is reporting that Finnish company Remedy Entertainment has stopped work on the PC version of Alan Wake and is now solely focused on developing the Xbox 360 version. Whether or not a PC version is released is now Microsoft's decision. The developer, which scored its first big hit with the PC exclusive Max Payne, originally announced Alan Wake for the PC and next generation consoles back in 2005, before a publisher had been determined.

Awesome misleading headline... I think IGN forgot a question mark.

Terms of the deal aren't yet apparent, but Jack, 25, would be a younger, faster replacement for Anthony Parker, who has agreed to a two-year deal with Cleveland. As a versatile combo guard, Jack would back up point guard Jose Calderon and also see time at the scoring guard spot. Once Jack signs the offer sheet, the Pacers have seven days to match.

I don't understand why Ukic isn't getting respect.
- Jed
Because Ukic still doesn't undertand how to make good decisions on the court. He has the talent, but he's not ready yet
- Shey, Jamaican of FF
I guess I'm in the minority in thinking he actually had a solid year? He made rookie mistakes in a rookie year; not to mention the whole adjustment to a north American game. I figured he solidified a relevant bench role coming into this year. I can see the Pacers matching, but in case they don't, I hope this isn't Delfino's contract they're giving him.
