" bundestag.de, the website of our parliament now has closed the forums on the petition against internet censorship in their e-petition system. The reason is one of our government’s former laws on “Störerhaftung” which means that you as a website owner are reliable for any content posted there. As people tried to post URLs to material about the petition’s content they now decided to stop the creation of new forum threads and thus disabling a public discussion about an important topic! Update: Nur um das klarzustellen, das Forum ist noch nicht geschlossen, aber neue Themen werden nicht mehr erlaubt. Bei weiterer Missachtung der Richtlinie droht aber trotzdem die Schliessung. Update 2: Die Moderatoren geben auch Hinweise, wie man denn auf Quellen verweisen soll, nämlich durch Angabe eines Zitates, das durch Eingabe in eine handelsübliche Suchmaschine zur gewünschten Seite leitet.
