The beach at South Amboy is used by fishermen, and on this part of the beach at least, they apparently have bonfires and cookouts. I've never seen one happening, but I've seen the evidence on them, like the beer can above and smoldering logs. There were beer cans all over the beach this afternoon, some of them unopened. - John (bird whisperer)
