"@Kent4jmj is on to something. Mass. has high taxes, but the solar sector is still in its infancy. Lack of economy of scale is one problem with profitability. I've been trading green energy stocks and in my opinion they're good for day or swing trading, but not investing. I've been tracking Evergreen Solar (ESLR) and First Solar (FSLR) and they always tank after earnings are announced, even when the news is fairly good." - John Foster
