U can get amazon gift certs and then it won't ask. But if it sends you a check you have to put it in for tax reasons. If your making a ton you might ask your parents to get an EIN number from the IRS. This is free and is tied to an SSN. So if the EIN got leaked you won't be at risk. (Check out what clickbank suggests) - Chad

If you are a US citizen and have to pay US taxes you MUST give them an SSN or EIN. That way no one gets arrested :) . If you reside in a different country then I have no idea. - Chad

Instead of setting Nathan up with his own account, I'm just having him use my account with his own tracking code so I can tell what is his. I give him anything he earns. It was easier for me because I've been blogging all year, and I know the search terms that brought some readers to my blog (from using FeedBurner. Now, for Kayla and Alex, we just took their current interests in Pokemon and Star Wars and found the synonymous keyword that works for a microniche. We didn't put too much energy into that. Already, they're complaining that they don't want to be locked into those limited topics. That's OK for them since this is a learning process. - Sandra Foyt
