As usual, a really good plot with some educational value thrown in. Though I never did figure out why the names of the characters kept changing randomly. - Craig

yeah, that stuff is awful. they are playing on people's fears. for a long time i was getting messages everyday from a recording telling me it was a debt collector and that i was in big trouble. if i had had any debts and/or was less savvy (i'm thinking of elderly people), i might've called back and who knows what might have happened. good work tracking your guys down all over the place. - edythe

You talk too much? -Remember, you broke comments yesterday ;) Pay no attention to haters Bwana. Life is too short to worry about Twitter and Twit-outs. As I see it, it's all in fun. - Vince DeGeorge
It's cool to hate on the people that are hating on Twitter. - Bartek Gniado
It was fun, that's for sure. The angst is amazing to watch. Pretty much all of it is based on speculation. - Bwana McCall
Seconded, Vince - Shey
I think whoever said that didn't read what you actually said. - Harvey Simmons
Nah, you're ok in my book. - Thomas Hawk
if you're an elitist, i should be in england claiming my right to the throne. - edythe
I disagree...I think the Twit-Out will motivate Twitter and push them to be better. - Chris Rossini
@Chris, I'm not sure much of a "dent" was made - anyone have numbers on the actual effect? - Vince DeGeorge
It is my belief that it was only a small part of a much bigger outcry. The difference was it was organized and the discussion threads are somewhat centralized on FriendFeed. - Bwana McCall
you're lucky. i'm just a regular idiot :( - Outsanity
I've seen quite a few comments in the last 48 hours indicating that the folks who came over to use FF liked it a lot - some better, some may even switch. If that does not motivate Twitdev then they should lose followers. - Jody C
Yep. That covers it. KIDDING. I think what the Twit-Out did to spark discussion is great. It spurred a lot of great ideas and we all together were able to get Twitter's attention. So that's a good thing. :) - Jennifer Leggio
Caring about twitter doesn't make you an elitist... - Sarah Perez
I love Twitter and I hope they can get everything worked out but until they show they value their users enough to go out of their way to provide timely communication about problems I will no longer be the enthusiastic Twitter "evangelist" that I was and, instead revert to passive user status. - Marco (aureliusmaximus)
Don't let it bother you. In fact, it looks like you're good luck for Twitter. You Twit-Out, they get a $15 million shot in the arm. - Tom Landini
If I know human nature, it's probably not over yet... - Shey
But Sarah, it shameful right? - Shey
Yeah, ignore them. - TranceMist
If I stopped doing something every time someone had a gripe about it, I wouldn't be doing anything at all. - Morton Fox
My last comment was just in reference the first 2 paragraphs -- i enjoyed the rest of the post http://www.readwriteweb.com/ar... - Shey
Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion about Twitter - good or bad. I just find the whole "if only they would give us the source code, we'd be glad to fix it for them" meme very tedious. I hear the same comments from 13 year old MMORPG players all the time, only those players are actually paying for the service they complain about so they probably have more standing than any of us. Everyone just relax, scaling any application is difficult on a limited budget. They'll get ahead of it soon I'm sure. - Craig
