"Here's a question that's related and stumping me. If the best practices and/or examples from the business/ corporate world shows the added value of diversity that drives innovation, then how is it not (yet?) playing out among innovative churches? For churches that love and value innovation, does incorporating more diversity result in more innovation? In other words, if diversity did drive church innovation, wouldn’t the most innovative churches be more diverse? Diverse not only in attendance, but also in leadership? Or, wouldn't the most diverse multiethnic churches be at the top of the list of innovative churches? Perhaps more real-life practical examples of both of these cases would motivate many more churches to diversify their leadership than anything else. (Well, and then, there's the motivation from God, but that's a trump card.)"
