Just heard that my friend, Thorny, is doing the live sound for Obama's big convention speech.
historic gig, that. I recall somewhere reading that the risk for Obama in making a speech in that setting is that the sound'd be all echho-ey. Or maybe the risk was talking to a less-than-full house. Methinks that the campaign is on top of both issues; they do a good job with optics and organization, too. Good to see good sound tech cred (of the foaf variety) for this event. - Susan A. Kitchens
